Thus, plan your off roads trips with this in mind and never forget to bring the essential tools and spare parts for long trips. It’s not a judgment call on the Hilux Surf but a basic precautionary tip for anyone going on a long trip regardless if they are driving an SUV, truck or sedans.

When looking for a quality car today, one of the top options is a Japanese car.  Through the years, the Japanese car industry has taken over the world in car making.  However, designs may be more or less the same with other carmakers but what makes them stand out is their quality in the manufacturing process.  Japan itself is known for their strict standards in doing anything and that includes car making.  So it is no surprise that even if they started their automobile industry in 1904 only, they have come a long way and have made their mark in the world.

In 1925, the United States big three namely Ford, General Motors and Chrysler did set up their plants to manufacture cars there in Osaka and Yokohama.  This gave way for a good number of car productions for these companies while domestic cars were only minimal compared to these big three.  In 1936, The Japanese government passed the Automotive Manufacturing Industry Law, which pushed the United States big three to leave the country.  The Japanese car industry dwindled and focused on truck production because of a second Sino-Japanese war.

In the 1960, Japanese introduced their version of the beetle, Subaru 360 that paved way for their car industry.  It is with this small car that the average person can now afford to buy his or her own vehicle.  Owning a Japan made car simply equates with quality.  Japanese car today has become a household name and one of the sought after cars by anybody who looks for various car sizes from the small cars to the large ones.  These cars are even said to last long years that their reselling value is high so owning one is an investment and not just an expense.  Nobody can ever go wrong with a Japanese car.
